TL-WR700N setting

 

TL-WR700N is a real plug and play wireless router. Wher you are travelling or in business trip, you just need to plug the ether net cable provided by the hotel to TL-WR700N, then your room will be covered by wireless signal.  Your ipad, iphone and all other mobile devices can share the internet acesses.

TL-WR700N provides 5 working mode.

1. AP。It is default working mode. In this mode, TL-WR700N works as a wireless access point. Plug and play, free of configuration. If you need to setup a encrypted wireless network, please refer:

2. Router。In this mode, TL-WR700N works as a wireless rounter. Cable in WAN, and wireless in LAN, so that wireless clients can share broad band. refer the link below to use router mode.

3. Repeater。In this mode，TL-WR700N receives and emphizes wireless signal, and builds a new wireless zone, so that extending the original wireless zone. Refer the link below for more details.

4. Bridge。TL-WR700N connects another wireless network and emits wireless signal, builds a new wireless zone, so that it solves the signal descrease and signal blind point problem. Refer the link below for more details.

TL-WR700N do not setup DHCP server by default under AP mode, it cannot assign IP to computer. Computer may need to assign IP address manually to access TL-WR700N configuration page. （TL-WR700N `s default IP address is 192.168.1.253）。You may need to set computer`s IP to 192.168.1.X（1≤X≤252），subnet mask：255.255.255.0，then go to http://192.168.1.253 to setup TL-WR700N.
